a forest birthday

the idea

rainy autumn forest vibes, a hot tub and a sauna, dancing and music, and maybe even a cook. you fly in from wherever you are and stay for all of it or part of it.

i want loved ones around me who actually show up. that's you.

the weekend

mostly this is time to talk, hang out and catch up. the rest is optional.

money

you get yourself here. the stay will be free or low cost, and i'm still working that out with the garden. i don't want this to be a drain on anyone, so if it's not free it'll go by what you can afford.

if you want to stay past monday, you're welcome to, you just cover those nights yourself.

getting there

fly into porto (OPO). a taxi from the airport to the garden is about €45, so it's worth sharing one. once you say yes, i'll send the exact address and match people up by arrival time.

bring

the garden is normally closed in winter, and the big halls are cold and hard to heat. so we'll hang out in the cork room, the small warm one usually used for yoga and meditation. the rest of the warmth is in the sauna and the hot tub. dress for the cold in between.
